Semantic search in your knowledge base with AI

Cubos de datos unidos por conductos de luz que se cruzan, como una base de conocimiento conectada

Every company accumulates manuals, internal policies, procedures and technical documentation in PDFs that nobody opens again until they need to look up something specific, and then nobody remembers which document it was in. BionicAdri turns that mountain of files into a knowledge base that can be queried in natural language, with answers that cite the exact fragment where the information comes from.

From Dead Archive to Consultable Knowledge

BionicAdri's knowledge base lets you upload manuals, PDFs, text documents and internal policies. In the background, the system processes each document, splits it into manageable fragments and indexes them for semantic search: not search by exact word, but by meaning.

This is what makes the difference compared with a traditional file search. If you ask "how do I request my holiday?", the system doesn't need the document to contain that exact phrase: it understands the intent of the question and finds the relevant fragment, even if the manual words it differently, for example "request for a holiday period through the employee portal".

Questions in natural language

You write the question as you would ask a colleague, not as loose keywords for a search engine.

Cited answers

Each answer indicates which document and which specific fragment the information comes from, so that it can be verified.

Fragment explorer

You can browse document by document and see how it has been divided into fragments, with the exact content of each one.

Multi-format

PDFs, text documents and markdown are processed the same, without needing to manually convert any file.

How It Works Under the Hood (Without Jargon)

When you upload a document, the system reads it, breaks it into fragments of manageable size and calculates a numerical representation of the meaning of each fragment. When you ask a question, that same representation is calculated on your question, and the system compares which of the stored fragments has a meaning closest to what you are asking. The most relevant fragments are used so that ADRI writes a direct answer, instead of returning a list of documents for you to read yourself.

A Practical Example

Imagine a professional firm that has uploaded its internal procedures manual. A new employee asks the chat: "what is the process for registering a new client?". Instead of having to search in a 40-page document, ADRI locates the exact fragment where that process is described and answers with the specific steps, indicating which section of the manual that information comes from.

What It Is For (and What It Is Not For)

This capability is designed for corporate knowledge: procedure manuals, internal policies, technical documentation, internal regulations, guides for using tools. It does not replace transactional data that already lives in other system modules (invoices, customers, tasks): that data can already be consulted directly from its own screens and from the chat without needing to upload it as a document.

  • Yes, it makes sense to upload: employee handbook, holiday policy, quality procedures, technical documentation for a product, internal security regulations
  • No need to upload: customer lists, invoices or data already managed by other system modules and already directly consultable

Use Cases

  • New employee onboarding: any employee can ask about internal procedures without depending on a colleague explaining everything from memory
  • Internal IT support: upload configuration manuals and let the team ask directly instead of searching in shared folders
  • Regulatory compliance: quickly check what internal policy says about a specific case, with the exact quotation as backup
  • Technical product documentation: for the customer service team to consult technical manuals without having to be product experts

Conclusion

The information a company already has written should not remain buried in folders nobody opens. With semantic search over your own knowledge base, anyone in the team can ask in their own language and receive a direct answer, with the exact reference of where it comes from, without having to read the whole document to find a specific piece of data.
