MCP connectors

MCP connectors: ADRI queries your ERP, your databases and your servers

An MCP connector is the secure link between ADRI and another of your programs, such as your ERP or your database. It lets ADRI query live data, read-only if you prefer, and lets your applications request work from it via API.

What is MCP

MCP explained without jargon

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets an AI assistant connect to other programs in a controlled way. Think of a universal plug: ADRI is the device and your ERP, your database or your server are the sockets.

You do not need to know the protocol. In practice, you paste an address (a URL) and, if needed, a key (a token). From then on you talk to ADRI as usual and, when needed, ADRI queries that system for you.

What it connects to

The 21 connectors in the catalogue, with no small print

BionicAdri comes with a catalogue of 21 integrations. Eleven can be connected today; the other ten appear as preview, with the label “Coming soon”, and do not have a connect button.

Permissions and security

What ADRI can do with each connection

Read-only, the recommended option

When you start the connector you choose the level. In an ERP or a database, the guide recommends a user that only queries: ADRI analyses sales, stock or invoices without creating or modifying anything. If you configure read-only and ADRI tries to write, the operation must fail: that is the protection working.

Write access only if you ask for it

Granting write permission is your decision, under your responsibility. It is never the product's default behaviour.

Your passwords stay with you

The username and password for the target system go in the connector's start command, on your computer. ADRI and BionicAdri only see the URL and, if there is one, the key you paste into the card.

Each connection is personal

It is managed from the Integrations button in the chat. Your URL and key are not shared with your colleagues, and you do not see theirs. The token is shown masked and you can enable, disable, edit or remove the connection whenever you want.

Legal notice with record

The first time, you accept a notice: data leaves for the server you connect to, you are responsible for what you connect and you must not send personal data without authorisation. The acceptance is saved with date and time.

How ADRI uses it

You speak normally; ADRI uses the tool when needed

  1. You connect once

You choose the connector, follow the installation guide if there is one and paste the URL (and the key). The card changes to “Active”.

  2. Ask in the chat

There is no special mode. You write what you need and ADRI uses your user's active integration.

  3. You receive the response

ADRI queries the system at that moment and answers you. It does not copy your ERP into BionicAdri's tables.

Examples of requests per connector
ConnectorWhat you can ask
Odoo or another ERP in read-only mode“Top 10 customers by revenue this quarter”, “Stock for product X”, “Outstanding invoices”
Xmart ERP“How is line 3 doing?”, “Delayed orders”, “OEE for the week”
PostgreSQL and MySQL“How many rows does orders have?”, “Are there slow queries or obvious indexes?”

Important: the connector must keep running on your computer or server. If you close it, the card may still show as “Active” but ADRI won't be able to use it until you start it again. For documents you upload, there is ADRI's knowledge base; MCP is live querying.

The ADRI API

And if you want your program to ask ADRI to do work

MCP goes in one direction: ADRI reaches your systems. ADRI's API goes in the opposite direction: your website, your script or your external CRM launch tasks to ADRI without opening the application. For example: «summarise this PDF», «draft this reply» or «analyse this Excel».

Subscription

A customer's API contract. Without an active subscription, the API rejects requests.

Token

The external system key, in the form tok_… You can create several (production, testing), set an expiry date and limit which agents can use them.

Tasks

Every request is logged. You ask for the status until it finishes and collect the text, a machine-readable result or the files it has generated.

It is sent with a POST to /api/v2/ollama-tasks, with your token in the Authorization header, and checked with a GET. It supports an attachment of up to 50 MB and has a limit of 300 requests per minute per token. If you suspect that a key has leaked, you revoke it and it is cut off instantly. AI is included: there is no balance to top up and the real spend is measured in the Consumption Panel.

Other channels

WhatsApp and Telegram are not MCP, but ADRI lives there too

WhatsApp

You connect your number by scanning a QR code, like in WhatsApp Web. If you message yourself, you talk to ADRI. There is also an automatic reply for customers, which you activate.

Telegram

You log in with your phone and a code. In 'Saved Messages' you talk to ADRI, and you can use the channel in campaigns.

Each one on its own screen

They are managed from the Channels button, with their own permissions. They do not depend on the connector catalogue.

Price

From €275/month, AI included

You pay per seat: a seat is an AI task running in parallel, not a person, so there is no limit on users. The server where your data lives is chosen separately, from €100/month. Prices exclude VAT.

Frequently asked questions

What people usually ask us

What is MCP and why do I need it?

It is an open standard so that an AI assistant can connect to other programs in a controlled way. You need it if you want ADRI to query data from an ERP, a database or a server of yours without you pasting it into the chat.

Can ADRI modify my ERP or my database?

Only if you allow it. The recommended option is a read-only user, with which ADRI queries and analyses but does not change anything. Writing is your decision and is never the default behaviour.

Which ERP can I connect today?

Odoo and Xmart ERP can be connected now. Tryton and Holded appear as preview and do not yet have a connect button. BionicAdri's own ERP is not replaced by MCP.

Is my ERP data copied to BionicAdri?

No. ADRI queries the ERP in real time, through the connector you control. Your ERP or your database stay where they are.

Can my colleagues see my connections?

No. Each person configures their own, even if it points to the same company system. The token is stored masked.

Can I use ADRI's API from my application?

Yes. You create a subscription and a token, send the task via API and check the result when it finishes. There is a limit of 300 requests per minute per token and attachments can be up to 50 MB.
